Most kitchens in Glendale will adjust a dish for common dietary needs like gluten-free or vegetarian if you ask when ordering. Hours vary widely: diners and fast-food chains often stay open late or around the clock, while bakeries and cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon. Catering and food delivery businesses in California usually require advance notice, from a day for a small order up to a week or more for a large event, so it is worth contacting them early.

really yummy quaint little authentic Armenian spot in glendale. The vegetable wraps are delicious fresh of the grill, and the baklava is top notch. Even enjoyed some traditional coffee. Always blessed when i am close to this spot to pop in and get a snack.

This Armenian restaurant has a small but thoughtfully curated menu. I tried the veggie wrap, which was simple yet flavorful. The restaurant was quiet when I visited, and the worker was friendly and welcoming. Iβd definitely like to come back to try some of their other menu items. Overall, I was pleasantly impressed.

We came here for the namesake dish and to experience food from a different culture. The Zhengyalov Hatz is a flatbed stuffed with a remarkable combination of vegetables and herbs. Savoury, earthy, wholesome with an after taste, it was a great experiment. The Lahmajoun was a delightful dish of finely minced beef, marinated in hearty spices on paper thin flat bread. I really liked the Pepperoni and melted cheese pide too, washed down with a salted Yoghurt drink. There was little service - the guy working the ovens just stared at us unhelpfully when we asked if we could take any seat. We ordered at the counter from a grumpy lady, picked up our food when we hear the bell and bussed our own table. Our taste buds were richly rewarded as the food was truly great - very deserving of its inclusion in the Michelin Guide. The service, not so much.

I finally made it to this spot and was not left disappointed. We went in at 7:00pm on a Friday night and ordered one Zhengyqlov hats to share as a light snack before dinner plans later that evening, and boy was it filling. The dish is not like anything I can compare to, it's a very unique dish as it uses 12 different types of greens, but if you like healthy, earthy green dishes, you have to try this spot. When we got there they had about 8 of the dishes made but they warm it to order and its just such a comforting snack, though it can definitely be it's own meal if you eat the whole thing. Service was quick, efficient and courteous, they were kind enough to split the portion for us which we appreciated. Parking can be a little tough but the inner street around the corner had a few spots. Definitely give this place a visit and enjoy this delicious, unique dish. Also want to note eating here made me feel like I was transported to Armenia as the decor and the decor and theming was very on point.
